Amie began working in family law as a receptionist in a small private practice where she was tasked with answering the telephone, corresponding with clients and court staff and handling a multitude of other administrative duties. Amie’s ability to multitask and her attention to detail lead her to be tasked with handling an overflow of paralegal work. Shortly thereafter, Amie was promoted to a position as paralegal. Amie pursued a decree in paralegal studies and earned her Associate of Science – Criminal Law from Mount San Antonio College in Southern California.
Amie provides support to the firm’s attorneys and is an indispensable part of the team. She has worked in family law for fifteen years and exclusively in Tarrant County for almost six years. Amie brings a wide array of strengths to the team including her excellent writing skills. She is organized, efficient, and consistent. Amie believes that her work in this field is rewarding as it allows her to assist people in doing what is best for their families.
In her free time, Amie is usually outdoors running or hiking. Amie also has a houseplant collection that she enjoys caring for and she loves experimental cooking at home.
