This law firm will not disappoint.
Please read this review if you are thinking of wanting a lawyer. This is my honest review and take this review into consideration. I’m not one to leave a review; however, this law firm will not disappoint. Not too long ago, I was able to reach mediation after months of hard work and dedication, and I was able to reach an agreement with my co-parent. If it weren’t for this firm, I honestly cannot tell you what the outcome would be. This law firm is very attentive to your needs and is ready to assist in however they can. The staff are very involved, professional, knowledgeable, and honest about what to expect with your case and are ready to assist in any way possible. If you are worried about money, the firm is flexible and is willing to work with you as long as you advise ahead of time, make your payments on time, and on the day you said you would make the payment. I would like to give a shout-out to Ms. Konnor Lee. I didn't have her as a lawyer for too long (honestly, she came into the case on the day of mediation). She didn’t know much about me or the case as there was a lawyer change last minute due to my previous lawyer leaving the firm right near the end of the case. Ms. Lee, knowing this, still took my case and represented me anyway. In the short amount of time speaking to Ms. Lee, I honestly can say she knew her stuff and was more than willing to go the mile to make sure you as a client meet your needs. Not only is she well-rounded and knowledgeable, but she is realistic and honest about what to expect and what the outcome can be and puts your eyes to see things in a different perspective. Thanks to her, the case closed, and a new chapter in my life began. I recommend anybody to the firm and highly recommend you to have Ms. Konnor Lee as a lawyer. Do not hesitate on the firm, as I am as skeptical about stuff like this too, but for me to write this review says a lot about what this firm has done for my life. Thank you, Mark Childress Law Firm, for representing me and doing your absolute best to make sure I was heard and taken care of. God bless you all, and I hope every co-parenting person reading this can be civil and do what’s best for the interest of your child.

Exceptional Experience
My experience with Mark Childress Law was really exceptional. Laura Richardson was the attorney on my case and she was always incredibly responsive. She was very understanding of my circumstances and always brought a thoughtful and results-oriented approach. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the process, but for mediation and personal suits I can’t imagine a better experience.

Answers to Common Questions
  • How long does mediation take?
The duration of mediation varies based on the complexity of the issues and the couple's willingness to negotiate. Some might resolve their issues in a few sessions, while others might require more time. On average, most mediation processes are completed within a few weeks to a few months.
  • What if we don't agree in mediation?
If an agreement isn't reached in mediation, the couple may choose to pursue other options, such as going to court. However, the discussions remain confidential and cannot be used in a courtroom setting. Many couples find that mediation helps clarify issues and facilitates future negotiations, even if a full agreement isn't achieved.
  • Can mediation address child custody?
Yes, mediation can address child custody and parenting arrangements. It provides a platform for parents to express their wishes and concerns, helping them collaborate on a plan that considers the best interests of their children. This often leads to more personalized and flexible arrangements than court-determined outcomes.
  • What is divorce mediation?
Divorce mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral third-party mediator helps couples negotiate and reach mutually agreeable terms for their divorce. The mediator facilitates discussions and assists the couple in understanding each other's interests to find common ground on various issues like property division, child custody, and support.
