Attorney Bethel Zehaie
During her undergraduate, Bethel T. Zehaie first took an interest in criminal law during her involvement with the UT Arlington Innocence Project, which allowed students to study the law and the reasons why many citizens are wrongfully convicted. It was this course that encouraged her to change career paths and pursue a law degree.
Bethel T. Zehaie then enrolled at St. Mary’s University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor degree (JD) in 2013. She was then offered an associate position with a law firm in Arlington, Texas, that specialized in criminal defense and family law. Working for this small yet high-volume firm gave her the opportunity to participate in seven jury trials as of August 2015.
In the summer of 2014, in the pursuit of becoming a better trial attorney, Bethel T. Zehaie attended the Trial Lawyers College, founded by Gerry Spence, a lawyer recognized nationwide for his countless courtroom victories.
